Lemon Sorbet

This fat free dessert is so simple to make and delicious on a warm night. Serve in a bowl or a gluten free ice-cream cone.


  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • Juice and zest of 4 large lemons
  • 2 egg whites


  1. Combine water and sugar over heat until sugar dissolves and then chill.
  2. When chilled, combine with remaining ingredients in blender until well mixed.
  3. Freeze in an ice-cream maker otherwise freeze in a biscuit tin, stirring with a fork every hour or so.
