Strawberry Breakfast Slice
Recipes > BreakfastsThis super easy, low fodmap strawberry slice makes for a delicious start to your day. The high protein content of the quinoa flakes will leave you full and satisfied all morning. This slice also makes for a delicious morning or afternoon tea.
Ingredients
- 2 cups quinoa flakes
- 2 cups lactose free milk
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup rice syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla powder
- 3 tablespoons margarine
- 1 cup fresh strawberries
- ½ cup macadamia nuts
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C
- Place quinoa flakes in a greased or lined tray.
- In a blender or large jug mix the eggs, milk, rice syrup, vanilla powder and margarine and pour over flakes. Top with the berries and nuts.
- Place in oven for approx 30 minutes or until set - firm in the middle.
